Clinica Angloamericana in Lima, Peru releases a letter of conformity to PCI and OXITEC this June 2023
Clinica Angloamericana, one of the most prestigious private clinics in Lima and one of PCI’s most important clients in Peru, purchased an Oxygen Generator in 2021 due to the COVID-19 emergency. After the pandemic passed, the plant continues to operate, and the client has found it more cost-effective to use their own DOCS 500 oxygen generator. By utilizing the oxygen from their DOCS, they have effectively reduced operating costs compared to using liquid oxygen. Currently, there are many hospitals in Peru where our equipment is supplying oxygen satisfactorily. PCI Gases is looking forward to continuing its successful business relationship with more hospitals in Peru and Latin American markets.
VSA Technology
To produce oxygen from air, PCI uses a proprietary Vacuum Swing Adsorption (VSA) process that eliminates many of the design problems associated with traditional on-site gas separation systems (PSA). Our innovative VSA system eliminates the need for process valves, feed air compressors, associated dryers and feed air filtering systems. Our robust VSA oxygen process extracts maximum sieve and power efficiencies = low cost (both CapX and OpX) high purity oxygen generation. Oxygen produced is 93% purity. Additional product/systems features include load following, remote monitoring and diagnostics along with an industry only 10-year warranty on the adsorber bed vessel. Average life span of our systems is 10-15+ years.
